Hot Tips

On First Burn
Allow the top layer of wax to melt completely to the edge of the vessel.
This prevents tunneling.

Trim Your Wick
Trim your wick to 0.5cm before lighting the candle again.
This prevents over-burning and smoking of the wick.

General Safety
Do not leave your candle unattended and do not burn
for more than 3 hours at a time.

Why is the surface of my candle bumpy after burning?
This is common among soy candles and doesn't affect its performance! It happens when wax cools at an inconsistent rate. Sometimes it will dry unevenly, other times it will dry completely smooth.

Why are there beads of oil and water on the surface of my candle?
It is common for a soy candle to sweat but don't worry, it doesn't affect its performance! Soy wax is sensitive to temperature changes, causing the oil to separate from the wax. You may leave it as it is or simply wipe the excess oil with a tissue. To prevent it from sweating, keep your candle in a room with consistent temperature.
